Discover authentic Tahitian and Polynesian dance classes in Jacksonville, FL, and experience the Polynesian Triangle Lūʻau, our premier entertainment company available for private events, weddings, and corporate shows.

We are proudly woman-owned and led by native Polynesian and Asian/Pacific Islander directors. Tē Here ʻA Hura translated from the Tahitian language is "The Love of Dance", and we bring that passion to everything we do as Northeast Florida’s premier Polynesian dance school and luau entertainment company.

Directed by Hina Mariteragi Buendia and Jerly Asunto Drysdale, we bring over 65 years of combined professional experience in Polynesian dancing (Tahitian, Hawaiian, Samoan, Maori, Tongan, Fijian), instruction in Polynesian dance, and the entertainment industry.

With their God-given talents, their exceptional award-winning backgrounds, combined skills, and their extensive experience performing in nationally and internationally acclaimed professional entertainment shows and productions, their professionalism and knowledge of the demands in show business is a valued part of their instruction to their students.

Most notably, they are recognized by their peers as respected leaders and mentors within the Polynesian community.

OUR history

For three decades, we have been the heartbeat of Polynesian dance in Jacksonville, Florida. As the only authentic, Native Tahitian (Māʻohi) led company in Jacksonville, we proudly bring true cultural heritage and premier Polynesian entertainment to North Florida. Over the past 30 years, our foundational training and instruction have shaped the local community, producing award-winning soloists and dance groups.

In fact, our training has raised most of the Polynesian dancers and provided the foundational instruction that shaped most of the Polynesian dancers and hula hālau in the Jacksonville region.
