CLASS DESCRIPTION

If you've never danced and always wanted to try, this is the class for YOU!

Our upbeat and welcoming class features bodyweight exercises paired with basic Tahitian dance steps.

Get your sweat on every Saturday morning at the Ballroom Dance Academy.

This class is open to ladies and gentlemen, ages 8+, and all skill levels. A 'ori mai (Let’s Dance)!

YOUTH BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE GROUP CLASS

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Ages 5 - 14 year old Tāmahine (girls) and Tāmaroa (boys) with and without previous dance experience, willing to push themselves to the limit to learn or relearn the basics of the various Polynesian islands including but not limited to ‘Ori Tahiti and Hawaiian Hula.

Dancers will learn the fundamentals of Polynesian dance through movement, dance vocabulary, language (Te Reo Tahiti, ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, etc.), & song.

adult BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE GROUP CLASS

Ages 15 - 70 + year old Vāhine (ladies) and Tāne (gentlemen) with and without previous dance experience, willing to push themselves to the limit to learn or relearn the basics of the various Polynesian islands including but not limited to ‘Ori Tahiti and Hawaiian Hula.

adult ADVANCED team

CLASS DESCRIPTION

The Adult Advanced Team is by placement only and is our seniority class.

Advanced Team dancers are challenged physically, emotionally, and spiritually with class material.

Dancers from this class are chosen to compete, perform, and participate in cross-cultural exchange.

ONE-ON-ONE PRIVATE LESSONS

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Students looking to have a more private, one-on-one session.

A more exclusive and individual based experience where students can better hone their skills through the undivided attention of the instructor.

One-on-one, or Small Group Training is available with one or both Creative Directors, depending on availability.
